Jeremy Elias Brito (lenzgermz)
Who is Lenzgermz?
Jeremy Elias Brito (lenzgermz) is a first generation, Los Angeles-based photographer whose work explores the intersection of nature and urban life. Raised in Boyle Heights, he grew up immersed in Chicano culture, a presence that continues to shape his artistic perspective. Coming from a Mexican Catholic upbringing and raised by his grandmother, he is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to navigate multiple cultural spaces with ease.
His photography focuses on the dichotomy between the natural world and human civilization, blending serene landscapes with the raw energy of street photography. Through his lens, he captures the tension and harmony between these contrasting forces, offering viewers a nuanced perspective on the environments we inhabit.
While studying at Pasadena City College, Jeremy had the opportunity to refine his artistic practice and collaborate with peers. He played a key role in creating, funding, and publishing a student-led zine, showcasing the work of emerging artists. His dedication to visual storytelling continues to evolve, reflecting his deep connection to culture, community, and the ever-changing landscapes around him.
